Like Ms. Marvel, my early childhood was spent in New Jersey until my family moved to the Midwest. Growing up in the Midwest came with challenges as I struggled to fully embrace my American-Muslim identity. But, while everything around me kept changing, my love for art remained constant. Art has always been a form of expression for me, and I especially love creating things that marry my love for Kansas City and my Pakistani heritage together. ​

In 2018, I turned my freelancing gig into an official LLC called Khanect the Dots (KTD). KTD was born out of my desire to help others tell their story. I'm an award-winning content marketer who has helped several businesses level up their marketing game. However, through it all, my passion for art and communication has always been a driving force. That is why in 2022, I decided to create Khancepts, an extension of the KTD brand focused on creative craftsmanship – encompassing all of the facets of my individuality.
